Fitting Rota alloys to Mk5 Gti
« on: December 16, 2014, 03:06:00 pm »
Chaps,

I bought a set of rota alloys for my Gti and I'm looking for advice on what bolts are best to fit them. I bought spigot rings so they sit just right on the hub but my OE bolts don't fit them. The head on the bolts are massive and don't let me to tighten them onto the wheel.

Anyone any ideas?

Cheers

You need tapered bolts mate, the OEM ones are radius and as you say the head is too wide

Aslong as you have the 5x112 versions and not the 5x114.3 they should be a straight swap with the above bolts otherwise you'll need some wobble bolts
