Dilemma
« on: December 18, 2014, 06:52:44 pm »
Well i've hunting a 3 door dsg edition30 for a while now to no avail, i had my heart set on dsg, BUT i've now got the opportunity to buy a manual that ticks all the box's other than the gearbox. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, i hate having to wait for a dsg to be listed, and the manual seems like a good buy, i know it will of been asked a trillion times on here, so i wont say it. Any thoughts or advice? Cheers guys. John.

Hold out if you can, you know if you buy a manual ED30 the day after a DSG model will come up

Drove a dsg R32 today.... Buy the manual.

But seriously it depends how much it matters to you, I was looking for a manual car and if a DSG came up in the perfect spec/ colour/ mileage/ condition and it was next door I wouldn't buy it because I wanted a manual and it was very important to me.

The fact you bothered to ask means you obvs really want the DSG so just hold out for it, otherwise you'll end up buying a car you don't really love and then have to sell it and buy another.

i don't have  a great deal of experience with DSG, but i think I've read somewhere that they are problematic if they haven't been serviced properly
