Interior or dome light issue
«

Mine hasn't worked since I bought the car. Yesterday I had the time so had a look at others post on how too. Removing the panels to reveal the rocker switch which I took out and gave it a clean. The info said to bend the legs apart a bit as they can go together, so did that and refitted which instantly blew the fuse. I've removed the rocker switch again and replaced the blown 7.5amp fuse. Can anybody offer any further advice on how to set this up.
The light do work if you push the rocker switch quite hard but release your finger and they go off. Everything else works as advertised.

Seems the switch only comes with the light?

The part is chassis number dependant for the whole assembly.

Mine has just done the same, stopped working so had a look and it looked really grimy inside, cleaned it and when it came to putting it back together there was no tension on the switch, now the fuse has popped!
