Highline problem..
« on: December 20, 2014, 11:58:03 am »
So driving back from work on Wednesday night on motorway I turned my brightness down on dash. To that end when I turned it bright again it keeps flickering with my gear selection line is darker that my trip part... And my temperature darker than the trip aswell... Picture below to show.

Does anyone know why this happens. It's intermitent so goes back to its bright clear self randomly.

I think its the temperature that affects it!

I've only got midline and it occasionally goes like that in very hot & very cold weather!

Not really a great help, but my mark 4 anniversary done this at one point.  Pretty sure it was due to temperature and resolved itself.   :happy2:

If it's temperature related, I would suggest that some electrical connections are on the way out to parts of the screen. There's little to be done, but I did see on Wheel Dealers they sent an Audi one to a refurbishment place to have the screen replaced but probable cheaper to replace the whole highline cluster. Couple for sale on here now actually.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
