One of mines went pink last week, failed the next day.

I replaced them with Philips X-Treme vision

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2xGENUINE-PHILIPS-D2S-XENON-Bulb-85122-XV-XTREME-C1-BRAND-NEW-24h-DISPATCH-/281445702742?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4187789c56

They claim 50% better output than OEM, but the best thing about them IMO is they are 4800k rather than OEM's 4300k - the light output is much more effective on cats' eyes, signposts etc without being blue enough to affect output  :happy2:

Ugh I hope mine doesn't fail before the new ones come! I didn't really look into the Phillips ones, I ordered the osrams's. How were they to fit?

Thanks for the reply
Sam

It took me about 30-35 minutes to fit them, a bit fiddly when you have to hold the new bulb in place with one hand (as it falls back out the fitting otherwise) and slip the retaining ring over the bulb with another. If you have fat fingers it would maybe take longer/require more patience

I followed this guide on R32OC:

Thanks for the replies, my bulbs came in the post and I fitted them following the thread on the R32 forum which was mentioned above. Took me about 15mins to do the first side as I did a dummy fitment run with the old bulb so I knew how to fit the new one and the other side took 10 mins. Not difficult at all.

The Osram bulbs are pretty good but they didn't blow me away as I expected them too but at least I don't have a pink one now!

Cheers

Sam
