Fuel cut is nothing to do with DSG remaps as far as I am aware, this sounds like something on Stage 2 engine remaps for the K03 cars.

....And the fuel cuts may very likely be initiated by a Stage2 K03 car having an aftermarket high-flow tubular air intake which makes the system flow more air - Hence more fuel is required - Hence the fuel pressure will drop more and then actions cuts < High Boost settings may also introduce compromises. Turning down the Boost setting is one way to redress the balance. It's one of the great features of the Revo that you can fine tune the settings so easily.

I've looked into this particular question of fuel cuts with JKM because of my intention to upgrade my air intake.

That's good to hear :happy2:

All I need confirmed now is whether the torque handling has been increased :jumping:

Does the dealer need to know anything specific about the car before odering the file i.e. info from VCDS?

Is the original firmware backed up before applying the DSG remap...just in case there are any issues, etc.

yes we will need to know which version of stock software your car has before a file will be released to your dealer so if you can pre-emt it by sending a screenshot from VCDS to your dealer in advance it will make the process smoother for sure!

Yes we will have the stock file for your car on file so can be returned to stock at any point! :)

Hey Carl or Kev,

Does the software for the ED30/Pirelli work on the S-tronic S3's?  :happy2:
