Hi all been having problems starting my gti just lately and cant work out if its starter motor or battery when you turn the ignition the dash lights dull but nothing happens like the batterys flat but after a few attemps it will fire up.once its running i have a few lights on dash like esp.steering and a few others but when I pull away they all go out again and stay out until the engine is turned off and started again then does the same
ever since ive had the car its had a lazy starter motor aswell what are peoples thoughts.many thanks in advance
