need to get it dyno'd m8,Revo state around the 360 bhp mark
Friday morning..mot passed with no advisaries then insurance sorted for another year with Sky insurance,i did call round but none could match the price
Actually took a gamble on the weekend with the weather to have some other bits sorted/fitted to the car, thanks to Andrew,i bought the boldsport city light kit of him and thought id give it a go but wanted them running with the drls so there on all the time,as we know the wiring and bulbs are actually in the headlight ready but not actually wired up to work so with this yellow 'repair' wire i studied a few write ups and plugged it into number 10 on the headlight block then ran a wire under the headlight down to the drl which i was hoping to get to by taking the inner arch lining off and accessing from there but the washer bottle is in the way for access(drivers side) so a quick jack up and whipped the front bumper off instead lol

tapped into the green/blue power cable of the drl

popped led in and ignition on and on it comes:cheesy: really happy, passenger side was a bit easier but the same set up on both sides,no extra vcds to enable either

Next job...fitting the polar Fis module, fitted with the help from this write up
http://www.vwroc.com/forums/topic/3299-guide-how-to-install-polar-fis/
apart from the the wiper arms being a nightmare to get off, even watching youtube video's how to get them off lol we managed eventually lol,the wiper motor is fidely to remove also and had to remove a bracket to the side of it for easier accesss

ran the usb cable into the dash for updating etc in the future then into the little cubby hole

mind boggling the things this can do really and looked at a few forums for recommendations for what to measure/read off the parameters, got these on at the moment but have changed a few now

1 more write up to do haha :innocent:

Last job...rear carbon diffuser to put on,deffo a 2 man job, needed some bloody strength as its not as bendy as the original so hard to get it into position without 1 end popping out grrr, anyways took us about 3 hours with removing and putting the bumper back on,i know its a copy but with a bit of filing down round the edges its quite a good fit,its only the reflecters that look a bit lost in it lol
got some pics but hard to see properly, needs a sunny day to show it off more
original

not bad fitted really :)

thanks for looking

The City lights combined with the bumper LED's give such an aggressive look  :happy2:
Are the City lights only on when the headlights are off, or are they on with the headlights as well?

Just a few bits and pieces done on the R,ordered some rear carbon fins for the back but dont like the fitment, ill put some pics up later
going down to devils own owner Bruce's place on saturday to have the progressive kit fitted(dv30) i think, twin nozzle and 4 quart tank in the boot, controller in the glove box for fine tuning ;)
whipped out my revo filter guard so i could wrap the bottom on some heat tape i had left over, fitted some stickers to the boring dash buttons then service done in june so its ready for some more power now the cars ready built to handle it

A quick write up and a big thanks to Bruce and his brother Alfie for supplying and fitting my water methanol kit.Dropped me off in town about 9.30 and would call when finished etc
i decided to go for a progressive kit in the end(dv-30) which is more suitable for my needs and adjustable for any tuning in the future, also i had the solenoid upgrade and a second nozzle that they tapped into my throttle pipe with the other into my Aks tuning throttle plate.
only very fine modifications done for fitting these ports, the aks plate needed a part of the bracket above skimming down slighlty and the motor next to it,all leading to a nice clean install in the engine bay
next was mounting in the boot similar to Paul hulmes set up,pump in the small well where the usual safety equipment goes and the 4 quart tank again like pauls tie wrapped to the stiff carpet(not install into the body in case of any rust issues later arising)wiith the low level and lines on the inner to save the misses knocking it lol
overall done in super quick time as they both got on with the install and finished perfectly

its like driving at 0 degrees at night all the time now, main thing was to keep the temps down and clean the engine really but the little extra boost comes in handy

Also stuck the bit of fly  eye sticker i had leftover onto my drl's to blend them in more

Lastly a good friend made me keep my carbon fins/flaps that i was gonna send back after trial fitting to my original diffuser so thought it was a nice day lets whip the bumper off to make it a bit easier to install and make sure of a near perfect fitting
before then installing
