Finally got my other bargain ready to be fitted today

powder coat version but sent it off to a company in warrington to be cam coated in there turboX ceramic coating
standard pipe

new pipe coated

now off to the removal of the ITG enclosed intake(excuse the dirty engine bay)

all out and pretty straight forward, just the jubille clip onto the throttle body was twisted the wrong way around lol

onto the removal of the engine cover plinths,10 mm bolt underneath then a pair of mole grips to twist off the top ready for a garage midnight heat shield

onto the revo installation, back to the awkward jubilee clip again lol, this time with my bendy screw driver bits dead easy lol

finished result took about 1.5 hours

First impressions are very good, only driven it about 5 miles and can tell the throttle is more responsive straight away, pulls very well to the red line, now with selling the itg already the whole set up only cost me my time and £25,well happy

Fantastic Car - do love the mk6R!
Quick question - why did you swap from the ITG to Revo? I know intakes are always are a matter of taste - was the ITG too loud?

well guys,
ive had second thoughts of having these 2 pipes cam coating as its gonna cost £80 so i thought id wrap them in some heat reflective tape
the small pipe was a biatch to do so doesnt look to good but you wont see it anyhow lol

i did add some finishing touches later to tidy it up a bit, large pipe next which was dead easy hehe

hopefully should help a little to keep the temps down
