Treated the car to some winter protection today by a local detailer, hard to see much with it being silver so theyd be loads of pics sorry but not too much iron fallout or tar,a couple of slight scuffs polished out also, here's what it had
Winter protection package starts with having all arches cleaned and power washed followed by the alloys cleaned, we then rinse the vehicle to remove loose debris and the vehicle is then snow foamed and left for 10 min to soften the dirt and a soft detailing brush is then used to clean the intricate areas.

After this The vehicle is pressure washed once again.
Snow foam is then added and the vehicle is washed using the 2 bucket method with grit guards.
The vehicle is then dried with plush microfibre towels and the decontamination process begins.
First the tar spots are removed and a iron remover is applied to deionise the paintwork.
The paintwork and glass are then Clayed to remove any bonded contamination.
All painted surfaces are polished and and cleansed to ensure a proper bonding surface.
1 coat of nano paint sealant is applied (extra coats can be added at an additional cost.)
A nano wheel sealant is applied to the alloys and a good quality rain repellant to the front and side windows.
Finally the tyres are dressed and the door shuts are cleaned.
Prices for our mobile car winter protection package start from £65, contact us for more details or quotes.
i had it finished with a coat of ceramic to extend the life of the detail

Not sure if I'm stupid or confused but is it you that cleans cars or did you copy and paste from somewhere?

I have the same question but reading that toosmiles took his Golf to a local detailer, I'd guess that it's a copy/paste text explaining the procedure.

It was better before having that roof spoiler. Too big IMO...

Love the wheels as I have the same. You can fit some Audi bolt caps that match the colour of the wheels. I have the part numbers in my project.

Cheers

Nice car mate! Me and a mate fitted a Peron IC to my R last week, worth reading a few guides first as its a bit of a task! if you've got access to a ramp it will probably be a lot easier than on a trolly jack and axel stands. Also make sure you use the green o-ring off of the existing pipe with the new ally coupler otherwise it will leak boost (found out the hard way  :surprised:)
