Yours should be fine! the whole bumper must come off that will save you hours. Mine was the top t25 that holds the top of the light in. make sure you spray the screws with d40 and let it sink in and dry them then remove these and make sure you don't ruin the screw heads as they may be rusting. Let us know if you have any problems! we did two cars in 2 days lool! well a few hours. 5k will look very good! 10 k is over the top i agreehahah!

Read hids can cause problems and I don't know how to fit them properly?

HIDs are very simple bud resistors go into each other and then into the actual h7 connector and then a final wire into the ballast this is then sticks to the bottom of the depo unit! check my uploaded pic ill upload more to show you the difference between normal and HID! easy to fit!

Your lights look fantastic, what k there these?

I just wired the hids up and now cutting a whole in the cap to run the wires though but unfortunately I need to do the 6 o clock mod but seem straight forward to do.

Im just getting all the tools together to fit the lights so the main tools I need for removimg the heads and bumper are T25 and T30 torx screw i have all the other basic tools?

Thanks for the help :happy2:

Thanks pal! Mine are 10k went all out YOLO lol! Yeah you can drill a hole into but i mean we went for the push fit so just locked the cap as far as it went... Yeah basically tools really grill off 4 screws, bumper underneath 10 screws, arches 8 screws and then pull at both ends.

Fitted everything yesterday took me 3 hours start to finish no problem at all, you don't even need to remove the bumper just take out the grill and center torx screws and then both sides in the wheel arches and see can get your hand in the remove the bottom bolt on the head light, easy peasy!

Really happy with my 5000k hids they make my side lights and make beam look dull even though they are super white mtec bulbs.

Thank you all the help

Brilliant pal! I mean we did that half bumper removal but it was effort for no reason the second car we did we fitted them in under 1 hour so I mean its down to the time you have on your hand. Plus did you slide the bumper back in properly ?

Uplod some picture dudeeeee

Bumper Alignment
« Reply #57 on: January 12, 2015, 10:44:18 am »
Looking good chaps!!

I am having some issues with bumper alignment - I removed the front bumper to fit my Depo's, but seem to have some gaps that never existed before with the standard headlights.

I'll try to get some pictures up later - anybody else find they have increased gaps around the bottom of the headlights and also where the bottom left corner of the headlights meets the bumper?

I removed the bumper and adjusted the lights, put the bumper back on but it's still not right. The bumper lines up perfectly with the wings though as do all the screws.

Also just a side point, I bought a canbus kit but still needed to code for Xenon's without shutter to make the HIDs both work (the drivers side used to go out after 30 seconds) - this is bit 4 in  byte 3 in option menu 9 Central Convenience.

Thanks

I was thinking the same both me and Samiul11 have had the same problem with the bumper, it slides in perfectly. But the gap seems unusual, will check it out once the weather is better but I think its the fact you probably haven't assessed that corner that much and it looks out of place all of a sudden. But do give it a tug and see if it pushes further on! We haven't coded it in yet and make sure you do!
