Yeah to be fair I have never had such a close look before so not sure what it looked like before.

Coding is a must - without it the drivers side wouldn't say on. I am inclined to say that you don't need to spend the extra money on a Canbus compatible kit and can get away with a cheaper non-canbus kit and coding the car as a stated (a few on here have done just that for quite some time).

I went for the Canbus kit it was £40 with 2 yr warranty. I would not personally avoid £10 for stupid lights on the dash, and without the coding the system will work. On various models the lights tend to flicker, however, it isn't essential as my 2007 model doesn't suffer from any issues. And yeah I am going to look into this bumper alignment and see if I can adjust it more upload pictures of yours and i will too then we can compare!

Oh right, mine did not work without the coding and are canbus compatible! Oh well.

Yeah will try and take some snaps tomorrow - but I fear there is nothing that can be done as there no play in the bumper at all.

The only thing I can think of is tightening the screws that meet with the wing, by the the wheels.

Can I buy Depos and fit genuine ballast, igniter and xenon bulb to it?

Like, does it have the structure to hold the bulb/igniter and have cables/connectors for the igniter/ballast?

Genuine bulbs are D2S, not sure they will fit into the H7 socket.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121237144928?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

That one takes D2S and H7 and is for RHD.

Would this work with standard xenon D2S/Igniter/Ballast? I've tried asking the seller, but no response yet.

Depends on the type of Depo pal! The supplier will tell you as some take D2S and need VAGCOM coding. The pair on ebay going for £230 are d2s but apparently the sidelight positioning is not the same its the same as the halogen projector.

Turn on the lights and see what happens mate - in my case, the passenger light worked but the drivers side went out after a couple of seconds.

Coding cured it, now it always perfectly.
