Ive got MTEC halogens and the light output is terrible, i had to use my high beam 90% of the time. Im actually not going to drive in the dark until my hids arrive  and first i tried doing it with the bumper off halfway but you will save yourself alot of time if you just take the whole thing off which i ended up doing

Oh I have mtec superwhite bulbs haha. Do you know if hids are easy to fit?

What once have you brought, sorry for all the question they do look loverly fitted?

Ive bought some 35w 6k ones of hids direct. I havent fitted them yet but will update you with the details. Mtecs do look nice but they're just not suitable for projector lights. HIDS are easy to fit you just need to wire it up and find a suitable place to put the ballasts which in our case would be the bottom of our headlights.

Thank. Just did a bit of reading are you planning on doing the dreaded 6 o clock mod so you don't get a shadow on the ground?

Im not sure yet, if it doesnt bother me too much i'll just leave it

I've ordered some 35w HID's 5000k and a dremel from argos for 20 quid incase I need to cut a bit off the bulb for the 6 o clock mod. They should arrive for the weekend

People need to chill out about this 6 o'clock mod...it's easy..!! A 5 min job. Nothing dreaded about it believe me..!!

My mate just put a 10k hid kit on and he didnt have to do a 6 o clock mod

I'm not dreading it just being prepared and brought a dremel if I don't need it will be going back to argos for a refund
