Accuair Switchspeed urgent help needed!
« on: December 29, 2014, 06:07:15 pm »
anyone have knowledge about air ride? switch speed management?
basically I have all electrics wired up, everything is working as it should but the compressor won't work in conjunction with the ecu.
all earths are good and working, when I leave the compressor and power earths attached, the compressor starts up, but as soon as the ecu and management earths are attached, compressor goes off.
the compressor just doesn't seem to want to work with the ecu, all necessary wires are getting power to them, except the yellow one! which is the 'compressor relay fuse'
anyone had this before or know what I need to do? it's as though the yellow wire needs a ignition live too

bit more info if it helps, ignition live has been wired to the rear cigarette lighter(black/red) as soon as ignition is turned keypad lights up.
is that ign live okay to use? could that be the issue? not enough power from there?
I have earthed the battery wire and compressor wire together, and earthed the manifold and ecu together.
Once the power wire is connected to the battery and all 4 earths are attached, ignition on, controller lights up as it should but the compressor doesn't kick in.
If I take both ecu and manifold earths off, the compressor kicks in and just keeps filling the tank. as soon as earths are put back on, compressor stops.
I used a meter to test wires got power, there was nothing in the yellow 'comp 1' wire
