Personally I'd love a 12.5 second 1/4 mile under my belt with full weight and stock suspension at stage 2+ as that would make it quicker then the ED30 ever was officially, but I guess we will have to see.

Also I guess you have to look at the existing leaderboard and an awful lot of S3's in various states of tune have run down the strips and the best one of those was 12.7 with a GT3071R strapped to it! :surprised:

I'll not be as fast as Keith's APR monster, but I'll have to give it a go. :smiley:

Toms is the only S3 stronic though and he did 13.2 with just stage 1 and APR's was full weight...... or so they tell us, so i think you'll be looking around mid 12's. Are you going down on the 14th?

Your time will definitely be a quicker than your ED30 was, but that will be down to the mental launch that 4WD - LC and DSG produce.. The terminal speed will be lower though IMO..

Stage 2+ Ed30's can crack 113-114mph @ Pod, where as Keith's/APR's .:R did 110mph. So slower once on the move, but a lot quicker off the mark. Given the 100-150kgs weight advantage though, this is inevitable.

I think once all Stage 2+ mods are in place, you will easily match Keith's results John (although you may need lighter rims like APR's car)..  :happy2:

Perhaps the solution might be for someone to copy and paste the Leader Board into a brand new thread and ask the site Admin team to lock or trash the existing thread. It needs to be started and managed by a volunteer who is into the quarter-mile scene (not me!) and is likely to stick around.
