Just seen the leaderboard :surprised:

*note to self - must try harder*

First outing next year I will have the Quaife LSD, Decat, a more agressive REVO setting (instead of the stock standard one I had for this years runs), less weight in the car :wink:, wider R888's, updated DSG software and a few other bits, so if I'm not in the 12's at some point early next year I too will bonfire my car next to Tony Danza's and walk home :ashamed: :grin:

i reckon a stage 2+k03 has a sub 6 second in it easily. especially so if you have R888s and a LSD.

whats a standard GTI do 0-60 in, about 7.1 seconds isnt it. add 80bhp 100Ibft torque, you can easily gain way over 1 second.   second

I don't know if it's that simple, the more power you've got in a FWD, the trickier the launch.

Drag radials would get that 0-60 down quite a bit. 5.83 would be more like 5 flat :jumping:

Next time I go to York Raceway I'll be gunning for a 4. something as I'm on the brink with a 5.03.

What you need Hurdy is 4WD, 4.7 with a simple stage one map  :innocent: :laugh:

Hmm thought about that actually but to be fair, unless they shorten the track at Inters your never going to do a better time than at a prepped track like Santa Pod or York.. And they have been proven to be very similar to each other..

this is my best time acheived 23rd august 09 at santa pod, not too competitive with other revo stage 2+ ed30's but getting better! roll on 17th Jan 2010

Massive space for improvement there bud.. It's your 60ft time that has wrecked that run. You want to be down to 2.2's / 2.1's for a spot on run. Which would put you very close to the 12's IMO.
Stage 2+ with the right launch should easily be doing 12's on the right day I reckon..  :wink:
