great time  :happy2: Can you put your timing slip up, would like to see the times as you get up the strip and compare it to others.

Your time slots you right in front of SunglassesRon, but his has a 4.2mph higher terminals which is quite a lot so im assuming you got an awesome launch.

janner_sy i'll post the slip up when I get a chance, my 0- 60ft was 2.1. my terminal speed is normally 112-113mph there was a 13mph head wind on Saturday when I got the times, that wasn't helping. Im returning to santa pod on the 18th may, with the right conditions im hoping for a low 12.

Nice one Alex  :congrats: Great to see another Eddie is the 12's  :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

As Sy says, would be good to see a full list of mods to your car including what you have taken out the car etc. By the looks of things you have a fair few added extras on yours over mine that would help with a good start (uprated suspension parts, lighter etc) and that's a cracking 60ft time for road tyres (what rubber?)..
I always felt that I could of squeezed another 1/10th out of mine with the perfect run tbh, but it was as basic a Stage 2+ car as possible (stock car with exhaust, intake, HPFP, software and TD 1.2s) so at it's limit or very very close. With your extra bits and a bit of determination, I can easily see a 12.5 coming very soon :happy2: :drinking:

Oh and 5/1000th's of a second has put you above me on time.. You B@%*ARD!!!  :fighting:

And then get back to drop an 11.XXXX time :jumping:

I'm pretty sure Alex's car is just on a set of springs and no other suspension mods. He's on AD08's too I think, he will clear this up though.

Proper impressive time I think, I'm hoping to get to Pod soon and hopefully crack a 12!

Who is taking over that leaderboard thread now?

The APR R Stage 3 11.## sec time needs adding to it as well.

He's on AD08's too I think, he will clear this up though.

Id have classed a semi slick as a track tyre even if they are road legal personally.

Maybe worth a tweak on the leaderboard to state the actual tyres used.

Have to agree with Sy on this one. If the car is running these, 888's, R1R's or similar, then it should be classed as a track tyre. Nothing at all wrong with using them, it's just when adding a performance enhancing mod, it should be listed. Slicks should be down as slicks.

Not taking anything away from Alex's time at all, I'm chuffed to bits for him and hope he goes quicker. I just think there needs to be some clarity for people who want to make comparisons between different cars/mods/tyres etc.

Thats what I mean, A high performance road Pilot Sport 2 or Eagle F1 is great but it hasnt got sh!t on a road legal semi slick like R888/R1R/ADO8 for grip etc

Same car listing as before but the turbo is now a GTX2867 and I was on 97 octane that day.  Michelin PS3 road tyres.

Thanks!

I'm a little bored and geeking it up tonight, thats an average of 11.89 @116.22mph!! God Bless DSG and haldex!!!.  Love this car and its consistency/ability to use the power all the time, and once all the graphics are gone its  .  Has car has had more done to it since that day or was that the latest spec/power?

How long till we see a stage 3+ or stage 4 R DSG running up the strip  Wander what sort of time we would be looking at from a stage 4 which i presume is well into the 500Hp region?  Low 11s maybe, or are we into the 10s!¬!
