A lot... You'll probably be better off buying a used, good condition one on here or something.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Dont think you can buy the gaitor separate from the knob. When I asked VW for a price for just the knob they said it came all as one part and it was around £200 for it!!

Wow... I ordered a gaiter from ebay but it wasn't a genuine one, I think you can imagine how bad it is   :signLOL: looks like I'll just have to buy a gear knob and take the gaiter off then, thanks guys

Think All mk5 manual golf gaitors are the same mate, i recently purchased a genuine Vw gaitor off ebay which included a 6 speed gear knob and the grey plastic trim surround, think it was a Gt tdi item as exactly same as one fitted to the missus 2007 Gt140
Paid £36 for it delivered, i only needed the grey plastic trim as mine was scratched so just unclipped it and clipped it onto mine

Still have the knob and leather gaitor boxed up in garage somewhere!

Thanks mate, or even if you are doing nothing with the gaiter in your garage and it's in good condition I could sort you out?
