Yes you just had to change the steering wheel control module and buy a MFSW loom I believe?

Either way, car looks nice mate :happy2:

Scirocco wheels came in two forms, the MK5 shape and later (2010 onwards I think) in the MK6 shape. They went through some odd facelifts, with red clusters, then white clusters, MK5 climate control then MK6.

That's it basically, the 1st Sciroccos had their interior based on the later mk5s, then they received an update and the interior started being based on the mk6s interior.

Mk5 based Scirocco (2009-2010):

Just to confuse matters further, I think that is the newest scirocco, Shoduchi. It has the MK7 climate control. Yet I think it is still based on the A5 chassis and not the MQB?

I've been looking at sciroccos lately and want one with the MK6 wheel, instrument panel and climate control. But for the price I'm looking at, some have the wheel and not the climate or they have the red dash.

The Scirocco's chassis remained the same, yes, but the interior was updated to the mk7's interior in the latest update (with changes in the exterior as well).

Mk7 based interior (2015-):

The steering wheel is a good hallmark, I think.

Like the latest mk6 Golfs, the Scirocco also received the mk7 climatronic panel before having the major restyle to the mk7 based interior.

Yes, I have thought about changing it to yellow, just trying to find a spare one to have a play with..

Silver is the best colour to keep looking clean, I think. My white one is also hard to keep clean.

Maybe black is much harder then. White is harder than Silver.

Thanks! I can only really like white mk5s that have all the bumpers colour-coded. Black plastic bumpers make the car look cheaper, IMO.
