Just read this whole thread having not seen it before

Your car looks great and good to see it being so well looked after

I sold mine last Friday to my sisters boyfriend who also intends to look after it. They really are a nice bit of kit

I softened the blow of selling mine by replacing it with a year old Cayman S

They do go well with 300 bhp though

thanks for the comments, and a Cayman S would indeed soften the blow, good choice

Some nice oem modifications  :happy2: the camera is a great bit of kit you will learn to love it and won’t cope without it.

How is Ed? I paid him a visit some 4 years ago and haven’t hear or seen much of him about online  :sad1:

Really good touches to your Pirelli. :congrats:

So the Tiguan's rear badge fits without any modifications on our front grill?

Sadly not, it was actually off a Touareg 2010 model 7P6853630AULM, I just looked for one that the same size as the front one.
I then removed the backing off the new one and bonded it to the original MK5 mounting. Not a huge task but not a straight swap.

It looks ok, it just has a very slight gap between the badge and grille, but I'm happy with the outcome and I'm fussy as!!

Oh, pity indeed! It looks better with the newer badge.

Installed some rear ambient lighting, kept the kids amused for 5 mins.. I used a Audi B7 led module I had previously fitted in a B7 A4 Quattro I used to own..
I like the fact the LED are sunk into the housing so can't be seen during driving etc.
prt number if interested 8E0919063A

installed off...

and on..

pleased with the outcome..
