66.6 wheel spacers.......
« on: January 11, 2015, 03:57:47 pm »
Guys I think I might know the answer already but thought I would ask as I'm trying to save some cash.

I have some 15mm Eibach spacer with a centre bore of 66.6, they were on my A4. I know my golf is a 57.1 so could use some spigot adapters to mount the spacers to the hub. What I wanted to know is there a way to the. Mount the 66.6 spacers to the 57.1 wheels?

I hope I've explained it properly. If there isn't i will just sell these ones and buy some 57.1 spacers.

Assuming they're hubcentric (I wouldn't use them of not) then you can put a spigot ring on your hub to get to sit on there and then put a spigot ring on the spacers hub/ in the back of the wheel and they should be fine.

However if I were you I'd just sell them and get some 57.1's just for piece of mind.

I was thinking that but surely I can't get a spigot ring that goes from the 66.6 (the spacer) onto the 57.1 wheel. I've looked on ebay but can only ones that go 57.1 to 66.6 not the other way round.

Duh  :stupid: I just thought it through again and yes you're correct  :signLOL:

Hadn't registered properly that the centre of the spacer would be to big to go in your wheel. Sorry for the false hope  :rolleye:
