« on: January 11, 2015, 10:18:34 pm »
As above looking at buying one this week ? Which one you think is better on GTI EDITION 30 any pictures of them fitted ? Where is best place to get and how much ?

Does one give better power and air flow and sound ?

I haven't had evoms but I went from twintake to Revo and I love it, fantastic noise and feels more responsive.

BTW this should be in the modification section so it'll probably get moved

Both are great and honestly couldn't pick one of the other. EVOMS is cheaper but IMHO the REVO looks better. Both will give similar results re flow AFAIK.

Buy the EVOMS from Regal and the REVO from Alex at AKS.

Pics of the REVO fitted to my mistress is on page 1 of my build thread.

I know this is a mk6 but the new forge one for mk5 is out very very soon and the results are meant to be better than the evoms and the revo! Also think it looks better

On a K03 GTI, If you're not planning on going past Stage 1, is an intake worth it? Seen lots of posts of people saying that you lose some low down power?

I'm considering an intake, but not sure if it's worth it?

Its £345 with postage if you dont go through ebay he is willing to do them at £310 so you are still protected through paypal but just dont pay fees on ebay any suggestions ?

Where can I find more info on the forge intake for mk5 you mention that is coming out soon?
Not to steal the thread but i currently have the carbonio fitted as was pretty much given to me but will be going for going stage 2 or 2+ soon should I stick with it or go with the vwr intake as prefer to keep the closed cone style. But won't ever be going to ko4 so unsure if changing from carbonio would benefit me much as alot of mixed views I keep reading.
