No power limp mode no fault codes!
« on: January 12, 2015, 01:44:25 pm »
My car has just started to act up, with pedal to the floor I am getting no power what so ever, seems like the turbo is not kicking in at all. I have no EML on the dash and with a VCDS search no faults came up. What does this seem like?

Anyone?

Coil packs misfire can usually give an intermitted light flashing and then disappear. Mine came on and then went off but

As I would full slam the pedal it would not go over 3x revs and would just spit. Has to be the misfire.

Having read your situation again a friend had this but it went away after a while. He then got an induction kit fitted and it was back to normal!

I had this with my soot chucker if I pushed to far, I dropped in some fuel cleaner like redex on the next fill up and it cleared it. Carbon build up on turbo or something, worth a go.
