Possible DV problem?
« on: January 14, 2015, 04:00:57 pm »
Im not sure exactly which dv i had on before but im sure it was the latest revision one...i had a problem with power and this was it..lost about 130bhp :0 so i used my dads old one, revision d i think, this fixed the problem and was working fine ...
I now have the problem that came on the other day...my car is idling with the sound off a coilpack gone and the slighty rises to 1300rpm..

So i dont know if its the dv again or my airbox..i lost one off the pieces off plastic where the air goes in..but i dont think that would cause it to be this bad.

cheers

will upload video in a minute

Check the hoses going in out of pcv. I had same issue replaced coilpacks plugs dv. Turned out vacuum leak behind fuel pump on pcv hose
