Heat reflective tape
« on: January 16, 2015, 08:16:18 am »
Thinking of wrapping my induction in some heat reflective tape.

I've seen this on eBay http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=331429993433
But it seems quite expensive for what it is?

We use this at work;

Do you think it will be suitable? I've researched it and it says it will reflect heat but I don't know whether it will be as efficient as the gold stuff?

Yeah I thought that would be the case. I hadn't heard of DEI before, do you know a UK stockist? Can only seem to find it on amazon abroad.

Not sure to be honest. They have the gold stuff as well though.

Reflect - A - Gold is the stuff go use, reflects over 800 degrees F......pretty sure the silver stuff doesn't reflect heat but is something to do with keeping stuff cool.
