Brands & Runflat Usage
« on: January 29, 2015, 10:39:16 pm »
Just to check the state of play guys, is it still only BMW and Mercedes that fit runflat tyres to all of their factory production cars, or are there others etc?

Thanks.
Pete

Think so, however not all their cars use RFTs. Mine for example came with Pilot Super Sports.
Sideways yo!

Cheers Mike, didn't realise the M135i had normal rubber.

Do conventional things like the 330d and 530d still come with it throughout the range?

M cars, and pretend ones like mine have normal rubber. Everything else would have an RFT, although they're just starting to offer an opt-out on this. You buying new?

Ok, cool. No chap, it'll be an E90 or F30 and a year old or more in the latter case.
