GTI Pirelli Numbers

Just had a response from VW regarding UK GTI Pirelli numbers, VW are showing circa 210 have currently been sold and 36 remain in stock so they are estimating 250 in total and VW have no intention of providing plaques

to be fair order books were only open for about a month on pirelli, so sales rates about the same if they were left longer to sale.

anyone fancy an ed 30 for a pirelli :laugh:?

think you could order may through to beginning of august for factory orders, we ordered mid July and repecced what was to be the dealer demo

I actually saw another Pirelli on the road a couple of weeks ago. Both pulled up next to each other in traffic and had to do a double take seeing the same car! haha

P.S. I had to have someone point the P out to me too  :laugh: I was thinking of a conventional P rather that the P in the Pirelli logo  :signIWS:

carnt beleave some of you didnt know about the Ps  :signIWS:
anyway i drove passed a dealers on tues morning (0630) they only had dim lights on, but i thought i seen summit, so i pulled over (safely) and walked back to have a look, and there at the back of the shop stood a brand new spanking silver 3dr pirelli.
no plates nothing, thought theyed all been snapped up.
its in willenhall coachcraft, off jnk 10 M6,

first off imagine the p in the famous signature pirelli, the round bit of the p extends over the letters, google it if your not sure.
Then look at the spokes of the wheel only and the bit that connects to the rim is the vertical section of the p and the actual spoke is the round bit, if you look at the line down the middle of each spoke, well that is the space inside the P.  :fighting2:
