Don't know how to link, not massively IT savvy!
Just go on the ECP website, put in your reg, look at body panels and it'll give you a choice of 3.  Been told that the Platinum Plus versions are by far the best.

I've looked at the ECP wings and if you go for the Platinum Plus versions, they're are supposed to be the same ones you'd get from the dealer. Fully insurance and Thatcham approved and they're only £55 each.

Seems like a bargain so I think I'll purchase them and stick them in the spare room until the ones on the car start to look terrible.

They are the ones I've heard about mate. Unfortunately the paint matching will be the expensive bit. I have been told, although VW are repairing/ replacing the panels, I would have to pay £100+VAT each side to have them fully blended and colour matched!!

Very true, it's crazy that paint is more than the actual part!

The Guy who delivered it was laughing as he unloaded it and handed me the keys :)

He tried to lessen the pain by telling me it only had 6 miles on the clock!  I told him it would be around 7miles when he collected it :)

Inside is worse!

A White Steering wheel WTF!!!

what!!! Haha i hope i get something better on the 23rd!!

Mine was collected by the actual bodyshop and not the dealer. So the bodyshop provided the car. If i'd dropped it of at VW they would have supplied the car, I did get the option, collecting from my house was the easiest for me (maybe the 500 is punishment for getting them to collect my car haha)

Had a call from VW today. Due to my car going off site i can't have a VW courtesy car. The dealer spoke to the bodyshop and they don't have a car to offer! However, he phoned a second bodyshop who are owned by Carrs Ferrari Exeter. They are collecting my Golf from my home address and giving me a car to use. 7th April now and probably a 500 courtesy car

I rang customer services today to ask why I wasn't being offered a courtesy car, they're contacting them in the morning to arrange one for me. Have to say I'm very impressed with the customer services dept of vw they have been great considering my car is 2006 & all they have done.
