Hi

anyone got a MFSW on a Midline dash.
What options can you have and what things can you do

Before I upgraded to highline dash on the midline I could just flick through the OBC and adjust volume/mute. I suppose it depends which buttons you have also.

I've got the newer style buttons and on mine was only controlling volume.

If your buttons on the left hand side have a star and telephone button then you've got the newer ones.

It will do the same thing the wiper stalk does and thats flicking through the obc as mentioned above.  Pop a highline cluster In and you will have more fun :)

Can you use the MFSW as a stalk control for yur stereo? With a midline dash?

You can control the volume with the buttons on the left and  flick through obc using buttons on the right

I have the midline dash so I added the 2005 style for this reason. Buttons on the right control volume and skip tracks. The phone buttons on the right do not work with my set up though. The mute button works but the cycle button does nothing either. I have the rcd510 headunit and 7p6 Bluetooth

So if you're listening to music on your SD card you can skip through tracks? Exactly the same as my setup and just the answer I wanted to hear, cheers! Regarding the cycle button I'll have a look at the electrical pinout diagrams on ELSA and see I can do something about it.  :happy2:
