Miles to service Has changed
« on: January 22, 2015, 09:51:02 pm »
I took my standard Gti into Setyres in Worthing today and had 2 new tyres fitted (Hankooks)
When I went in I had 800 miles to service flash up on startup, it had been counting down as Ive down the miles but this evening Ive noticed it now says Service Now.
Is this something they've done or does it mean there may be a problem - there aren't any warning lights on
Its an 08 plate on 42K.

Did it not say 800miles or ??days? It counts down days and mileage so might just be time for a service.

Your servicing shedule is time/distance related. It will count down the remaining miles till the next service unless it reaches the annivesary date first. Then it will ignore how many miles you had left and tell you to service now as the year has lapsed.
