Well... Kind of, after the letter he did agree to what I wanted.
Removed the Mechatronic and have it repaired, natures out the company said there was f*ck all wrong with it so now they think it's the clutch packs.

Oh crap, feel for you mate,  :(
I spoke to a vw dealer about the bubbled paint work and he said theyd honour a warranty but for the mechatronic unit as there is one stamp missing I'd have to pay full for the replacement. I asked him if they (vw) knew about these faults, the should be covered under goodwill and he replied only 3 years warranty from new and maybe if the customer had fully stamped book and always uses vw for their servicing needs ie loyal customer.

I'm going to be taking the golf off the road as consumer rights state if there's a fault, stop using it.
Lucky I've not sold my tt, as things are getting worse on the golf including engine shaking like when I first went to view it and was told throttle control valve was going to be replaced but now worse still. Tried using my vagcom on it but it didn't work, also tried vcds and still nothing.

Hope you get this sorted bud. But what you do have on your side is that car was clearly mis advertised.

These are Asians bud, ASM Google um

The have in their showroom lamborghini Porsche maserati

M3 r32 etc

So cannot believe they'd rip off someone but I guess sheep in wolves clothing and very rude over the phone but I can't seem to record the conversations with my Samsung s5

I can believe it, these garages want to spend the bare minimum in the hope the person buying the car doesn't spot the issues. You have to do your research and know your rights.

Hopefully you get this sorted.

They sold a black 3dr Edition 30 DSG in the last month.
I've noticed it's now for sale at another trade seller.
Strange!

This has useful info. Some been said already, but if they are selling as a trader you have rights:

Those CV boots don't look like they should have passed any MOT.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

May not be much help now but ask to see a copy of the AA inspection report?  The dealer should have a copy if they had it checked?

I got the AA to check my car before I bought and the inspection report really helped.  I even spoke to the inspector.

Hi and thanks Jamie,, he said they doesn't have them and the AA should send one in two weeks but lying again I bet.
I've not received any papers or even the receipts mot paper. :surprised:
If AA had inspected it would they have surely found these faults?
