Don't think so, as the R32 one is likely designed to cope with the much heavier front axle weight of the V6.

I highly doubt it will fit since when you buy one you have to specify between 2wd and 4wd so there's probably a design change so it fits around whatever running gear etc is in the way. Only way to know for sure would be to try

Its not the weight. Its the shape. Its definitely a different shape to accommodate the 4wd.
R32 fits gti but not the other way round.
