Ab, traction control and tyre pressure sensor light...
« on: January 25, 2015, 07:54:10 pm »
So iv got all 3 lights on the dash! Iv googled that it could possibly be the abs sensor ring or pump. I recently had the cv joint done on them rivers side and it was knocking on full lock. Now after a full lock "u turn" in the road all the lights come on.

Also had the car tracked recently and the technician noticed the cv joint didn't fel as though it had any grease in!

Iv spoke the the garage and they're gona have a look on Tuesday but what chance do I have at them sorting it out? Also has anyone had this problem before?

Cheers!

Issues with the CV joint aside I would check to make sure the connector hasn't come undone or the cable snapped.

Just an update! It was a g44 code which was rear right abs speed sensor ring. Replaced the hub with the ring at the cost of £170 and it's sorted the problem.

Just as a heads up I rang vw and they said if it was g201 code they would of paid for the repair and diagnostics! Always good to ring them!
