What brake pads.
« on: January 28, 2015, 04:47:45 pm »
This could be a bit of stupid question.

Am looking at buying brake pads for my golf mk5 gti.

I noticed there are different sizes of pads when i put my reg number in. My brakes are standard so what ones do i need or do either fit ? Just obviously the larger ones are better.

Cheers

Not a case of bigger ones, only one size will fit unless you want to upsize your calipers and discs. Really a case of upgrading pads and possibly discs. Pads will make the most difference, and everyone has their own personal opinion/taste/experiences.

Reading your post again on sizes offered, I found some websites offering r32 brake pads for gtis -so double check before confirming order!

Hi mate. I wasn't looking to upgrade to bigger brake kits or that. Was just when i put in my regi it comes up two different sizes of pads. So i just need the smaller pads then?

Cheers

Not necessarily it depends on what they offered you, it might be the larger!

Where are you looking and for which pads?
