Looks like gearbox has gone

So it seems my gearbox has gone got it in at midland vw at the moment but they still not sure what it is exactly.

If I do need to source a new dsg gearbox will the dsg gearbox need to be off another mk5 gti or will one off a mk5 tdi or normal mk5 be the same dsg gearbox?

Also need to raise to cash fast and have these parts for sale on eBay.

You'll need one with the same gearbox code for starters and ideally from the same model and year of car. DSG boxes can be repaired so you really need to find out what's actually wrong with yours.
