Cheers mate. Now my next question is.... Has anyone installed the flappy paddle paddle extensions that I have seen for sale on eBay? I don't mean them ones particularly but of the same kind

Yep I have. mine were from Mandy on the forum, give it a search and you should be able to find what she has for sale. Feels much nicer with them in place, I would suggest the aluminium ones rather than the plastic   :smiley:

Gearstick moves over to the left and then it is spring loaded to go forward (gear up) and backwards (gear down)

I've got the plastic ones that @Mandy sells. They're great, as was the service. However, I'd probably go for the aluminium ones if I bought them today.

Easiest way would be to fit a DSG multi function steering wheel as it'll have the paddles fitted already, that's assuming that your car is an early one without paddles?
The paddle extensions however are a 5 minute job to fit over the standard ones  :happy2:

I had the plastic one's in the Golf and they were brilliant!!!

I fitted the Aluminium ones in the CC this week and on the way back from AKS this afternoon, one of them fell off!  :sad1: .....I wonder if the ally one's are a little too heavy for the sticky pads?!
They're are a great idea though so I might start looking for something a little more permanent!
