Take it to your local Revo dealer, it'll cost you their time to put the settings back in. I only had to pay a tenner for a tweak on mine

Depends. Which version of the map do you have? They changed the boost profiles a year or so ago.

I would take it to my local dealer but one of them completely screwed up the settings and then went AMD to get it sorted but they can't do anything till late next week :/

It will only wipe the Revo map settings. Other maps are not effected by battery disconnects.

This happened to a forum member at Surrey a Rolling road yesterday. Luckily someone had an SPS switch to put the settings back

Think a company like revo wouldn't design a map that loses the settings due to a flat battery

You would of thought so but guess not
I was looking into a revo sps switch but I was a bit confused because you have 3 settings. Boost, timing and fuel, on the switch it just has numbers on it, or is it like preset buttons?

Yes you defo need the SPS switch as it resets itself to factory when battery is disconnected. On the switch, No 1 is factory, 2 is Revo map, 3 is for running on 95 fuel & 4 is the valet mode.

It just wipes the settings back to 0.0.0
1,0,0   0,0,0 is Valet mode

It not an issue with Revo as such, it's the way the ECU works. The same happens if you go to R-Tech with the 5 switchable map option - It will revert to the original/basic map and you would have to switch it again. Difference with Revo is that there is no inbuilt switching option like APR with the CC stalk, or Rtech with the brake/clutch pedal combo.... Revo uses a hardware switch

Not true at all, 1 is Factory, but presets 2, 3, and 4 are user definable. See here: http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details//serial-port-switch-sps

AMD are not REVO dealers so no sure why they would help

I wouldn't let AMD change a light bulb.

If your in London and you can call your tuner that set you up with the settings a can put them back on for you  :happy2:

AMD isn't a revo tuner anymore but they still have the software to sort the settings out for people.
