Wouldn't have thought oil would have made such a difference.
This should end the questions/posts of which oil to buy then!

Hmm an interesting read.. Might try it instead of my Castrol Edge.

The 5w30 or 5w40 debate still rages on though. Tuned car owners seem to favour 5w40 from looking at various threads?

I'm pretty sure you can only get 5w40 in the millers anyways so that argument is void luckily.

Also reading the only review on that (from fast car) they fail (unless i'm blind) if the oil in the car was fresh normal oil, or had been sitting in the car for the last year or so. As new oil the same brand as before would have also helped boost output.

... my two cents
There is no replacement for displacement....
But a turbo does help....

They say that the oil and filters are changed to halfords own prior to the test...
