Hi,
I've got a regular knocking noise coming from the engine bay, it's only apparent when off the throttle coasting down/braking from 40mph. It sounds like a light knocking on a table, but it isn't random, it seems to go in the same 'pattern'.. It started doing it on Friday afternoon after someone at work tried (and failed) at closing my bonnet a few times, I don't know if this is relevant or just a coincidence. There is also a distinct knock when setting off sometimes too.
I've had a look in the engine bay but because it doesn't do it on tick over/on the throttle its a bit of a lost cause..
If anyone has any idea what it is please comment, thanks in advance.
