Picked it up from AKS on Friday after having the H&R Monotubes fitted with TTRS top mounts, Vagbrem discs all round along with the refurbed ED30 calipers I had previously bought.
First impressions on the Monotubes are excellent! Will definitely get some on the Vento next year

Thinking of selling the Monzas as I've found a nice set of 19" BBS's but no rush.

Future plans are to get a Revo map next time its at AKS and sort some body work issues (respray bonnet, sort bubbling wing, R32 style rear with no exhaust, side skirts and ED30 splitter).

Fine example you starting to get this to :)
For what reason did you pick the TTRS top mounts?

Cheers, AKS suggested them. Plus they are cheaper than genuine replacements.

Rang AKS last minute today and booked it in for the Revo map. Rude not to when it was 25% off  :driver:

The TTRS top mounts are more robust and less prone to squeaking with wear.

Went back to AKS Weds afternoon. After several attempts Alex finally managed to load the map. Drives so much better now but still feels a lot slower than my Audi  :ashamed:

Will see winter out then will tidy bodywork and add a splitter and skirts  :happy2:

Recently MOT'd with no major issues and was serviced yesterday at Peterborough Audi.

Can recommend the H&R Monotube coilovers enough.. even had a set fitted on the Vento since  :happy2:

Still need to sort some paintwork issues out which will be done in the next few months at a local bodyshop but other than that all good, went past 150k a few weeks ago.

The golf will be up for sale soon as making way for an Audi A7

Will more than likely return to standard so wheels, coilovers, rear lights, R32 pedals, headunit & sub/box and steering wheels etc will all be available soon.

Keep your eye out in the for sale section or if you want to jump the que.. drop me a txt 07415974278

Coilovers have been awesome so will be a bargain for someone  :happy2:

My R32 rear calipers came back today from Brake Caliper Refurbs...

Very happy with the finish. (I paid extra for the better coating  :happy2: )

Got a genuine dummy shark fin aerial to replace the current one..

And some genuine mk6 switches with door warning lights from @golfman

Hi Mate what is the part number for the shark fin ??
