Newbie from N.I
« on: February 02, 2015, 02:02:58 pm »
Hi guys,

Im Josh, 21 from Northern Ireland.

Been looking on the forum for a while now on the lead up to buying my first GTI. Finally found a good example locally, haven't collected it yet but will get pictures up as soon as I do

Just wanted to introduce myself! Thanks

Welcome to the forum Josh.  Really lucky owning a GTi at 21, I had to make do with a Mark 3 Golf SE (looked like a GTi but was only a 1.4), still a really good car mind but would have loved a GTi at that age.

Get some pictures up when you get your new car.   :happy2:

Thanks for the welcome!

Picked the car up on Friday there and I haven't stopped smiling! The GTI is such a good car and a huge improvement on my past cars (Suzuki swift attitude, seat arosa, Audi A3)

I started a new thread and there's one picture but hope to get more on once it gets a good clean!

What're you driving at the minute?

By the way, your car looks minted mate, well done on the purchase.  It was either a grey or a black one i wanted, took me a while to find one that was knackered though!  Finally got a decent example.

I've always loved the great but just couldn't find a good example locally.

The car cleans up well but I'm going to leave it in with someone to have swirl marks etc removed in the better weather.then hopefully get the wheels refurbed and maybe change their colour at the same time.

Any photos of your pride and joy?
