coilover/ tyre rubbing help!
« on: February 25, 2015, 09:40:47 pm »
hi everyone, just got some Apex coil overs fitting and have been playing around with the ride height. So I found the right height for them not to rub on the lining but now they are rubbing on the tyres!! its only on the left hand side and when the wheels are straight or turning right, turning left is not a problem and can't hear anything.

SO what could i do to stop it rubbing? spacers? will this make the tyre stick out to far and cause rubbing on the arches again?

Any help would be great!

Sounds like you need spacers and then roll the arches so they fit. Is it the fronts your having trouble with? What offset and width are the wheels?

Have you had your wheel realignment done as this can prevent rubbing also

is there a way of using the coil over (the bit that twists to change the height) on these? can you just change it shock over or are they attached? thanks
