Throttle position sensor fault

glow plug light flashing have about half power vcds says

16611 throttle pedal position sensor g79 signal too low
16610 throttle pedal position sensor g79 implausible signal
Is this a easy fix any one know him much a new one is

The part is chassis number dependant you need item 17.

There is a know problem with the wiring rubbing through and grit ingress - plenty fixed the fault by removing the pedal cleaning or repairing the wiring and reinstalling!
