help me decide :)

Hey guys,

Ive personally never been a fan if the standard issue numberplate that once advertises the garage that sold the car.

Now every other car i have had has ended up with wolfburg plate surrounds and a metal pressed plate. But not every car i have owned has been as new as my mk5.

I want to change the plates again but i cannot decide if i should go with pressed metal again or try this new 3d black gloss resin ones?

Also un desided on if i should have the GB stamp as i have previously had it for purely cosmetic looks. Any pictures of your setups would really help me :)

Me personally don't like the GB on the plates,been thinking of buying the metal ones

I'm currently running a shortened plate as its personalised but it is just the standard letters and numbers with no GB. I shortened the standard plinth to to take the short plate.

I'll send you a couple of mine via Whatsapp now mate, £20 eBay pressed metal jobbies - 100% legal too.

They are indeed, along with the name and postcode of the seller, who is officially registered and licenced to produce legal plates (i checked through Gov.uk)

I've had the £20 metal ebay ones for a few years now there decent. Full of dents from stones now though and some muppet with a towbar has bent the front plate. Time for some fresh ones

I'm running a pressed plate on the rear without a surround, looks so much cleaner and nicer (IMO). I've get to sort the front out, need to remove the magnet and attach it to my grill.
