Stage 2 in South Yorkshire...

Hi Guys,

Well after driving about in the car for the last few weeks I'm not 100% impressed LOL!

Car is quick, but I keep thinking something isnt quite right! Just feels sluggish at times!

Anyways, just wondering if anyone has a Stage 2 car in the Sheffield Area? Who would be happy to take me for a spin?!

Looking for something with nothing more than a Remap and Full Milltek, with Carbonio ;)

Hurdy has been to Statlers and rates them.  I dont know exactly where but theyre in sheffield

Thanks mate...Might take you up on this! But TBH, I'm only wanting to have a play with a Stage2! Reason being I wont be going Stage2+, as I wont be going with a Fuel Pump! Which makes a big difference in Tourqe, so will be even more different than my car hahaha!

I'm currently running Milltek TBE, Carbonio, APS Stage 2...So really wanting to taste something like for like, to see if my car is the problem, or is it just me?!

Went there yesterday! As above I'm not running Stock at the moment, so not sure how much money I really need to spend!

Looking at ECU map and DSG map! But as I'm running an APS stage 2, I dont know if I need another ECU map...So want to see how my car compares!

But the cars are Statlers are running mad power so not really going to be able to compare LOL!

Steve (I think) at Statlers said my car is probably running about 280bhp, which is dissapointing as APS quoted about 300-330!

hahaha...not so expensive! yeah I know, but the missus doesnt like me spending any money on the car hahahahahahaha!!!

Stage2+ is abit too much for me hehehe...If I had Stage2+ I'd want the S3 cooler, plus the Pump, all in all I'll be spending alot of coin LOL!

Spoke to Steve Jr at Statllers earlier and he said that you had been down.

I could take you out for a spin in mine if you like.

We could also go out in yours as I've been out in several ED30's in different states of tune and could tell you if it is sub or on par with others.

Bare in mind that some stage 2 cars (Like Ben's - Vtec Abuser) are very strong on their software anyway.

Erm...yeah I know some cars do respond better! Like I said I'm not looking for masses of power! I'm just looking to decide if I need to spend the money on...

Statllers don't do REVO software Mike.

If I have the DSG REVO software I will have to go over to Central Garage over in Doncaster as they are the nearest REVO dealer to me.
