Idle RPM?
« on: March 02, 2015, 08:33:35 pm »
Hi,

I've done a quick search but couldn't find anything...

Whats the correct idle speed meant to be (once warmed up)? And what is everyone getting?

I only ask as mine was a bit lumpy, so changed the PCV and it's better, but still seems a bit crap when warm, mine hunts between 650-700 ish rpm.

Cheers

Mine hunts the same as yours. Did the pcv delete and it was worse. So I just put the pcv back on which it does stop it...slightly still there tho. Been told there must be a air leak somewhere. Yet to find out tho.

I haven't had the car up on the ramps to have a ganders. Will have a look on Thursday when I get round to fitting my RevG. Will be looking at the newly revised PCV too. Will let you know
