Removing Conrete Residue

Here's a random one. I've discovered that my car has some concrete residue on it from being parked in a multi-story car park:



Now I've been researching and there appears to be two ways to remove it depending on the severity of it.

First, use white whine vinegar to dissolve the concrete and wash it off. This is for lighter cases (most likely mine above).

Second is to use hydrochloric acid (sometimes referred to as muriatic acid). This is for much heavier cases.

Does anyone else have any tips, or known products for this kind of paint/glass cleaning? Kind of reluctant to buy loads of HCl as it's not very nice stuff and I do worry about sing it on my Golf. Any thoughts or tips are appreciated.

Had some concrete caked on inner arch liner on my mk4, Cillet Bang worked pretty good but did need some scraping to completely remove it.

Legendary, I'll grab me some of that for my collection of detailing gear. Might even get the concrete off the mk5 GTI before she's sold too!

Have you just tried jet washing it?

Sadly, yes. It removes it a fair amount but it still leaves some marks behind. I tried claying it before as well which got it off the paint work but not off the glass.
