RNS 310 Phone Options
« on: March 01, 2015, 05:36:47 pm »
Hi

I have just installed a RNS 310 into my Mk5 GTI, and everything work fine apart from the Phone option, whenever I press the phone button the head unit just mutes the sound, I have tried to look for the RNS 310 over Bluetooth but is not pairing up. Does anyone here know if I need to activate the bluetooth feature for the head unit with VAG COM. I have checked the Firmware version and it's running 0357.

Is there not a bluetooth module in the RNS 310 head unit?

Yeah you'll need bluetooth module and mic etc mate.

I believe some of the RNS315s had a on board bluetooth module.
