Saw John Wick a couple of weeks back. Silly, unbelievable, but good fun. Too many bits where the bad guy has every opportunity to finish him off, but leaves the room and expects his evil henchman to do the deed...

Saw The imitation Game the other day. The BEST film I have seen in a long time. The main character is a modern day hero. His brilliance ended the Second World War about two years early due to cracking the Nazi Enigma machine code.

Southpaw... brilliant film

We watched Southpaw too..my other half cried "cause she's a soppy sentimental type" and thought it was great.
But I must admit I wasn't that fussed on the film.
Couldn't help the feel that almost every scene was ripped straight out of the Rocky Series of films.
Was expecting James Brown and Carl Weathers to appear at one stage.
I don't think it's a Rocky 'reboot' intentionally ??
Just my thoughts.

Haha I know what you mean. When he was out running and in the old school gym it reminded me too.

But over all I did enjoy it!!

Have you seen the trailor for 'Creed' ?

If not, youtube it.

Loved Southpaw! I thought it tilted its cap towards the rocky saga in a good way. Really looking forward to Creed too! Next up will be Straight Outta Compton.

Yeah I'm looking forward to Straight Outta Compton too. Watched The Man From UNCLE on Sunday, was ok but not great.

Legend.

Definitely a must watch! Tom Hardy is just insanely good, after about 10 minutes of watching it, I completely forgot that it was the same person acting!  The only bad point was that his Ronnie Kray voice did sound very similar to Bane and it got a bit distracting.

but an easy 9/10 if not 10/10

John Wick was a pointless, yet pretty decent film! Full of killing and blood!

Went to watch Everest on Friday. I didn't know anything behind the story to it beforehand but really enjoyed it. A bit of a tear jerker and has definitely made me realise I am not made of the right stuff to even want to give it ago even though I like a good walk in the mountains.

A solid 8.5 from me.
