Sorry to know that @Wash.

So for anyone interested, get the splitter from the German shop: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311234686059. This fits well.

Glad I purchased this one then! (Just today!)

So I got mine today and I'm impressed and not impressed - let me explain...

I have black lowers on my cw GTI so I wanted the ed30 look but in black. This is so not oem looking. It is a rigid plastic painted black.

It is a good quality but I can't do the car an injustice and leave it black - for that reason I'm not installing it.

If I had painted lowers and I was going to colour code this splitter than perfect, I just saved £200 over buying original.

Anyone fancy taking this off my hands for half price then pm me... I can't be bothered posting it back to Germany.

Some pics.

@bluo: Yes, these splitters are meant to be sanded and painted. If I knew you were after the OEM looking crude plastic, I'd have warned you that this plastic isn't like the OEM black plastic parts. Like you already know, the Ed. 30 doesn't have crude black plastic parts visible. :/

@K9 It's screwed. I saw that some fixing points needed to be drilled but that should be easy. Who fits mine just needs to copy what's done with the reinforced fiberglass one that I have at the moment.

Should i trial fit my splitter before getting it painted? Will it be screwed with the oem screws from the old splitter and no glue as seller told me?

As all painters told me, you always need to trial fit before getting anything painted.
